Each Night Pass grants access for 1 person to our DarkSky Observation Area from sunset to sunrise.
🕚 Important: On Saturday nights when special events are scheduled, Night Passes are not valid before 11:00 PM.

🌌 Access Notes
DarkSky Observation Area & Camp Facilities only — Forest Campgrounds are off-limits (our campers are sleeping).
No vehicles beyond the DarkSky parking lot.
Our park guides will be the ones with red headlights… because they’re "special."

👣 Who’s Welcome (and How)
Children under 13: Free if they’re well-behaved and quiet — leash not required.
Dogs: Free if they’re leashed, quiet, and well-behaved (same rules apply, different species).

⚠️ Rules of the Night
❌ No white light — red lights only.
(Moonlight and fireflies are nature-approved exceptions.)
🔥 No campfires — even if there’s no fire ban.
🔇 Keep it quiet — only "ooh", "aah", and "wow" are encouraged.
🐺 If you hear howling, turn off any accidental white light immediately.
👽 If you see white light from the sky, maybe don’t howl. Wait. Watch. Decide.

You may pitch a shelter, but:
Only in the Observation Area
Only if you can do it in the dark — or with a red light

Go to https://www.manitoulinecopark,com/check-in *when you arrive * the night of your visit to register and access our DarkSky preserve.
Limitations
Night Passes cannot be used before 11pm on nights where events are planned. Night passes are not valid for use during hunting season November 20-26 & December 4-10.
Refunds
Night Passes are non-refundable for any reason
