Service Description
The fresher & wilder your food, the less you need to eat, partly because of a greater density of the building blocks your body needs for maintenance & repairs, and partly because it's less work to extract nutrients. You may think wild foods are unpleasant - you might be pleasantly surprised! Leafy greens can lose half their nutrients within an hour of being picked, and farming dumbs-down food. The result is that wild foods have a much higher density in both nutrients and medicinal substances. You eat less for the supplies your body needs for maintenance and repairs. Your body works a lot less hard to extract and absorb the nutrients you need. And if you’re looking for freshness, it doesn’t get much better than eating right after you pick something. We’ll start with a general introduction to edible plants you can find in many temperate zones around the world, and where or when you can feel safe to harvest these, and wander the site to nibble.
