Our Stargazing Night Hike is an immersive adventure through our hardwood forest after dark, with a focus on nocturnal wildlife plus orienting by star constellations. During this hike you will get to experience all the wonders our nighttime forest has to offer!

Astronomy is what we are known best for at Manitoulin Eco Park, home to a rare DarkSky Preserve. With next to no light pollution, see stars, planets, constellations and galaxies far beyond what you can see most anywhere else!

If you awaken early, something fun to do away from the campsite that won't make late risers grouchy can make everyone's vacation better. Loosely based on Movement Therapies such as Yoga, Brain Gym, and Trager, this is open to all ages, but children must come accompanied by an adult or caregiver.

You might already have first aid supplies in your travelling herb and spice kit. Sea salt rebalances electrolytes if someone gets dizzy from exertion or sun. Plantain soothes insect itches & stings. Spruce needles help fight off colds. Discover your accessible or nearby herbal options.

You've taken a hike, and rain clouds came up out of nowhere. Or you've gotten lost, and it's going to take some time to get yourself found. When you need something to keep off the wind and rain, whether for less than an hour, or more than a couple of days, this is how to stay warm and take care.

The fresher & wilder your food, the less you need to eat, partly because of a greater density of the building blocks your body needs for maintenance & repairs, and partly because it's less work to extract nutrients. You may think wild foods are unpleasant - you might be pleasantly surprised!
